Student Life

at ECSU

Congratulations on your admittance to Elizabeth City State University! You will find that ECSU is a warm and friendly campus with faculty and staff who are anxious to assist you in achieving your academic goals.  We want to ensure a smooth transition into academic and campus life at ECSU.

New Student Orientation

Life on ECSU's beautiful campus will provide you the opportunity to meet new people and develop long-lasting friendships while being near classes and the various amenities offered. Our desire is to provide students with a comfortable and secure community living environment that is engaging and educationally purposeful.

Studies show that student involvement in college reaps a number of benefits. Involved students build stronger support networks, are more likely to graduate (and on time), develop a strong and diverse skill set, and are more marketable to employers when they graduate! Make the most of your time at Elizabeth City  State by exploring the vast opportunities available for students to get involved.

Student Engagement

We believe in mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy students because we know that the demands of college life can be difficult, so we're here to help.
