Our Work
We take a place-based, cradle-to-career approach to ensure that all youth in rural places succeed, starting with kindergarten readiness and continuing to a fulfilling career.

Our Big Bold Vision:
All rural children and youth are on the path to postsecondary success, because we know that is the surest path to upward mobility.

Goals & Objectives:

  • Organize a cohort of NC HBCUs to launch a national service program.
  • Increase funding necessary to build organizational capacity.
  • Leverage the national service model to create more workforce development opportunities for students.
  • Provide civic experiences that contribute to the overall advancement of rural communities.
  • Advance education attainment and leadership skills that produce better student outcomes
