Diversity at ECSU

Training that provides an understanding of the military-affiliated student experience. Green Zone participants learn more about the issues and concerns that miliary connected students and dependents face and the resources available to assist this population. Training that increases awareness and sensitivity to issues of gender and sexuality. Safe Zone also creates a network of support, resources, and allies committed to supporting gender, sexuality, and identity issues reflected in our campus and local community. Commonly known as the period of time between move in and Thanksgiving break when college students across the country are statistically at a higher risk of experiencing sexual violence. During this time, activities and programs will be hosted to foster an informed student body. For more information, contact the Office of Title IX.
