ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – Elizabeth City State University's (ECSU) Campus Recreation and Wellness is excited to announce the launch of its Ready, Set, Grow camp designed to promote health and wellness among young individuals in a fun and engaging way.

This specialty camp will cater to children aged 7-13 and will take place from June 26-28 at the R.L. Vaughan Center. The camp runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, ensuring a full day of engaging activities. The cost for the camp is $50, which covers breakfast and lunch for all participants.

Ready, Set, Grow promises to be more than just a fun experience. It's a platform for children to gain knowledge and skills for a healthy and fulfilling life. Participants will engage in various important topics, including Covid-19 hygiene practices, substance abuse awareness, mental health and well-being, sports and physical activity, bullying awareness, and civic engagement.

Parents interested in enrolling their children in the Ready, Set, Grow Wellness Camp can register here. Take advantage of this opportunity to give your child a summer camp that will tend to their body, mind, and soul in an experience they will never forget.
