ELIZABETH CITY, NC— Elizabeth City State Athletics has announced a new collaboration with Nike Sports Camps to host summer basketball camps in 2024 for youth in Elizabeth City and the surrounding areas.
The goal of this partnership is to expand the impact in the community and engage young athletes. The inaugural basketball camp will take place in July at the R.L. Vaughan Center and is open to girls and boys ages 7-18. The camps will coach basketball skills, leadership development, character building, and health and fitness.
Former ECSU student-athlete Randy Conley, Jr. will lead the coaching staff. Coaching for Conley is more than a purpose; it's a commitment to giving back to the game that enriched his life. Join him on this transformative journey, where a former player's love for basketball meets a dedication to nurturing future talents.
