  • A $30 application fee is required at the time of application submission.
  • You will also be asked to submit an official high school transcript.
  • If you are a current ECSU student and you want to add the certificate to your degree path, please indicate this on your application.

Certificate programs

The field of Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) is rapidly evolving, with expanding applications across various industries such as the military, emergency management, agriculture, construction, security, and real estate. The demand for licensed UAS operators is growing, creating numerous opportunities for skilled professionals.

By earning this certificate, you'll develop strong technical skills through online instruction and gain hands-on experience via flight labs. This combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application will prepare you to be at the forefront of UAS operation, policy, and safety.

The victim’s advocacy certificate is designed to train and qualify students to assist crime victims. Course options allow you to learn essential skills needed to provide services for victims and their families. Topics include crisis intervention, guardianship, and victim’s rights. Students will also learn counseling skills for crime victims.

This certificate is for those professionals interested in working with the police, social services, health care, courts, and non-profit organizations.

The certificate in natural disaster management provides students with skills to prevent, prepare for, and manage disasters. Students will receive training in planning for and response to man-made and natural disasters to speed recovery, improve health outcomes, and strategies to reduce loss.

Addiction and substance use disorders are among the leading health issues facing many communities. Substance abuse counselors and community workers can make a real impact through their dedicated efforts, helping individuals overcome addiction, promoting recovery, and contributing to healthier communities.

This certificate is for those professionals interested in working with as an addictions counselor or alcohol or drugs counselor, clinical or agency director. You can also take the exam to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (C.A.D.C.).
