The Division of Student Affairs and University Advancement, Office of Alumni Relations and Engagement, ECSU Athletics and the National Alumni Association, Inc., have worked diligently to curate an exciting host of events for Alumni & Friends during the 2024 CIAA Winning Weekend in Baltimore, MD. This year, we will feature the first-ever, Blue Chair Conversations panel - Alumni
& Pre-Alumni panelists will share their journey to Viking Land and the importance
of giving back to ECSU. We will have special performances by the ECSU Sound of Class Band and ECSU D'Lytes Cheerleaders.
Panelists: Dr. Edward "Ed" Newsome ' 73, Jaycee Ruffin '14, and Tonea Williams '24.
Fundraising Purpose: To support student scholarships - GAP Funding, Student Assistance Fund, & Athletics

The ECSU Sound of Class will compete in the Battle of the Bands on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. The event is FREE and open to the public! *See flyer below for more details.
It's a NEW VIKING TRADITION - Let's all meet up in the Lobby of the Host Hotel, Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor
at Camden Yards at 7:15 AM (for the early birds) to walk over to the Baltimore Convention Center (Pratt Street Lobby Entrance). We
will support our D'Lytes Cheerleaders during the CIAA Cheerleader Exhibition, Sound of Class Band, and Mister and Miss ECSU as they compete in the Mister and Miss CIAA Competition.
The Beta Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be representing ECSU at the CIAA Greek Step Show. Please purchase tickets HERE and show your support!
