The National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) / FAA Workforce Development Academy at Elizabeth City State University is a dynamic two-week program designed to introduce high school students to exciting careers in transportation and aviation. Now in its 22nd year and funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and NC DOT, this immersive experience highlights the crucial role of STEM education in shaping future transportation innovators.
