NSTI-Middle School
Inspiring Future Innovators in Transportation and STEM
The National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) Middle School Summer Program is a dynamic four-week experience designed to ignite curiosity and build foundational knowledge in transportation, STEM, and related fields. Students will explore exciting career paths through engaging coursework, hands-on projects, and enriching field trips.
Program Highlights:
- Explore transportation and related careers through immersive learning experiences.
- Participate in five engaging classes:
- Enhancement — Develop personal and academic skills to support lifelong success.
- Math — Strengthen problem-solving skills and learn real-world math applications.
- Entrepreneurship — Discover the fundamentals of business creation and innovation.
- Career Exploration — Investigate diverse career opportunities in transportation and STEM.
- Project Designing — Bring ideas to life with hands-on projects and creative design challenges.
Meals provided: Lunch and afternoon snacks
Hands-On Experience:
- Conduct STEM-based experiments and projects in state-of-the-art labs.
- Engage in inquiry-based learning activities that promote critical thinking and collaboration.
- Participate in team-based design challenges to develop innovative solutions.
- Experience real-world applications of STEM during exciting field trips.
Additional Activities:
- Set personal and academic goals with the help of expert advisors.
- Collaborate with peers in cooperative learning exercises.
- Receive academic and career advising to help chart future educational paths.
