Program Overview

The Entrepreneurship minor at Elizabeth City State University is designed for students who are interested in developing the skills needed to start and manage their own businesses. Offered through the Department of Business & Economics, this program provides a foundation in business principles with a focus on entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.

The minor is specifically intended for students pursuing majors outside of Business Administration and Accounting, helping them gain the knowledge needed to create and sustain a business venture.


What You’ll Study

The Entrepreneurship minor includes coursework that introduces students to key business and entrepreneurial concepts.

Areas of study include:

  • Foundations of entrepreneurship
